A Towering Emblem of Charlotte
Project
Bank of America Financial Center
Completed in
1992
Chosen from six competing design firms, Cesar Pelli and Associates were awarded the prestigious project of designing The Bank of America Corporate Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The iconic symbol of the city's financial district features a tower reaching a height of 871 feet, making it the tallest building in Charlotte and the 14th tallest in the United States. With 60 stories, the building provides approximately 1.5 million square feet of office space. The plaza, known as Founders Hall, serves as a gathering space and connects to an underground arcade filled with retail shops and restaurants, offering convenience and amenities to both occupants and visitors alike.
